We are very excited about this partnership and are confident that we will be able to offer our clients the best products, pricing and service in town.
UICCU may be relatively new to the Cedar Rapids market but have enjoyed much success in the Iowa City/Coralville area with more than 40% of the mortgage market. A big reason for their success is that they have their own staff doing processing, underwriting and closing – resulting in faster, more efficient service for their clients.

If you have looked at magazine or newspaper advertisements recently, you have probably seen these little icons popping up everywhere. These are Quick Response Codes or QR Codes that work just like a bar code. When scanned using your smart phone, it can take you to a phone number, email address, contact information, Google map location, web page, email message, SMS message or a social media address, all in an effort to give you the information you are looking for, as quickly and conveniently as possible.
All you need to do is download one of the free QR Scanner applications to your smart phone. There are many out there, but one of our favorites is Lynkee for iPhone and Droid. Just simply scan the code with your phone and you are automatically taken to the designated website or contact information for that code.
Skogman Realty is using QR Codes in our Saturday weekly insert and other print advertising. Individual agents are using them to promote their listings on yard signs and fliers along with their personal information on business cards and billboards. These codes allow the consumer to see property details, pictures and agent information about a specific property.
This technology paired with our mobile website makes this extremely convenient and easy for customers to find information. The mobile version of our website allows users to quickly navigate and find information about a specific home while on the go. Geo-coding, mapping, account information and individual property websites are some of the features that have been formatted to work on a mobile device.
